Abigail took a playful look at celebrity. As a starting point she took, on the one hand, different celebrities and on the other a range of different outfits, outfits which suggested different occupations and hence different personality types. Mixing them up enabled her to make a statement about the celebrity in question, hence Madonna as the super competitive jockey decked out in silks and armed with a whip. She photographed her A3 drawings at a very high resolution and had them commercially printed at almost A1. In addition the printers supplied them on foam board. Size in this instance helped and this together with the finish made for a pretty impressive show.
